TNI Marines Sent Peaceful Greetings To The Tomonsatu Children And Replied By Full Of Cheers

Papua, SniperNew.id - Tomon­satu Yahuki­mo, PenKoop­sT­NI – The Task Forces of the Infantry Bat­tal­ion 6 Marines, part of the Indone­sian Armed Forces Oper­a­tional Com­mand (KOOPS TNI) in Papua, is cur­rent­ly car­ry­ing out mobile secu­ri­ty at the bor­der of Indone­sia and Papua New Guinea, espe­cial­ly in the Yahuki­mo Regency area, Papua Pegu­nun­gan Province. On Sun­day, 14 July 2024, in the mid­dle of a secu­ri­ty patrol, the Marines Task Forces took the time to greet chil­dren in the Tomon­satu Vil­lage, Dekai Dis­trict, as an imple­men­ta­tion of the ter­ri­to­r­i­al pro­gram enti­tled “Peace­ful Greet­ings to Papua”.

The “Peace­ful Greet­ings to Papua” pro­gram is one of the pri­or­i­ty pro­grams of the Marines Task Forces Com­man­der, Lieu­tenant Colonel Ris­man­to Manu­rung. Cre­ativ­i­ty in pro­vid­ing a safe and peace­ful sit­u­a­tion in Papua is the top pri­or­i­ty that the Task Forces con­tin­ues to do. With this pro­gram, the Pur­ple Beret Sol­diers in the Tomon­satu Vil­lage took advan­tage of their patrol by send­ing Peace­ful Greet­ings to the local chil­dren they met along the patrol way.

While still pri­or­i­tiz­ing the secu­ri­ty aspect, the Task Forces Patrol Team led by Cap­tain Sept­ian shook hands and dia­logued with the chil­dren they met in the Tomon­satu Vil­lage. It turned out that this cre­ativ­i­ty was warm­ly wel­comed by the chil­dren. Respond­ing to the enthu­si­asm, the Patrol Team polite­ly com­mu­ni­cat­ed with them. A child named Lukas Busup, even said to the Sol­diers, “Good morn­ing, Om Ten­tara (Sol­dier). Glo­ri­ous TNI.”
